COMMANDANT NATIONAL INSTITUTE FOR SECURITY STUDIES  (NISS) PAYS COURTESY VISIT TO DPR DIRECTOR/CEO

Engr. Sarki Auwalu FNSChE, FNSE, the CEO of the Department of Petroleum Resources (DPR), received a delegation led by A. S. Adeleke, fsi, mni, the Commandant of the Nigeria Institute for Security Studies, and two others, to seek advocacy and collaboration between DPR and the institute.

The Director/CEO informed the guests that he is committed to working with all key parties for the greater good of national security.

In recognition of the CEO’s innovation in the Nigerian oil and gas industry since his assumption of duty as DPR’s helmsman, the commandant presented him with three books on national security policy, including “In Search of Peace and Security in Africa,” “Piracy in the Gulf of Guinea,” and “African Journal for Security and Development,” as well as a plague.

Engr. Ssrki Auwalu presented the Commandant with a copy of “The Manual of Oil and Gas Laws and Regulations” in the spirit of reciprocity, to help stakeholders better understand DPR’s role as a “Business Enabler and Opportunity Provider” for the Nigerian oil and gas value-chain.
